Determination

I am determined.

A puddle of tears, in the worst body pain I have ever felt.

I thought I was improving.

Jase and I saw an increase of energy over the past week.

I am determined.

I’m not giving up.

Determined: having made a firm decision and being resolved not to change it.

My 7-year-old daughter wrote “Don’t give up!” on a Post-it note and stuck it on the fridge. I look at it every now and then when I need a bit of a push to get me through.

So consider this my note to you…

“Don’t give up!”

I feel like when everything is going good, something bad happens just so life isn’t easy. It’s there so we don’t get used to the good things. That we don’t take it for granted. Hopefully, the pain passes quickly and the calm afterwards is that much sweeter.
